The SEAL LOCK® seal nut creates a seal on the thread and bearing support surface. SEAL LOCK Seal Nuts are widely used in liquid and gas systems or fuel systemsSEAL LOCK® seal nuts® provide a high strength connection and are resistant to loosening for re-installation.
* Clear advantages
Single connector
Controllable sealing
The seals are dissolution resistant to most oils
Temperature -40 °C to +110 °C
High preload
Anti-loosening
The installation can be repeated 5 times
Sizes M6 to M16
SEAL LOCK Seal Nut® has many advantages and multi-part solution comparison, cap nut, lock nut and two gaskets.
Example of SEAL LOCK® application
Seal the adjusting
screws in the water pressure control system
Lock the set
screw in the pressure limiting pump
Sealing rings and locking control shafts in the aircraft refueling device
Automotive gearboxes
Completely sealed
SEAL LOCK® seal nuts provide reliable air or liquid seals even at high pressures. Easy to install and more reliable.
The SEAL LOCK seals® both the inside of the thread and the underside of the head. The integral seal nut is easy to install and is equipped with a tie-down seal to prevent loss. Method/Principles SEAL LOCK® The seal nut is a monolithic structural piece. Sealing of threads and bearing surfaces can be realized.
In addition, SEAL LOCK® seal nuts provide a high-strength threaded connection with no loss of preload – even in the case of repeated
screw tightening.
For applications such as hydraulic control systems, SEAL LOCK® seal nuts can be used to seal and lock adjustment
screws that return to the chamber for directional control manifolds.
In addition, SEAL LOCK® seal nuts can be used to lock the set
screws of internal gear pump pressure relief valves or to seal and lock aircraft refueling system flow regulators on lever shafts.
